Daniel Caesar’s NYC Superpowers Tour stop was a night to remember. Montell Fish opened up the Superpowers World Tour with tracks "Talk 2 Me" and "Fall in Love With You." "When my ex broke up with me she said I wasn’t good enough" Fish shared as the guitar-playing Pittsburgh native and the crowd sang "Maybe it couldn't work out In the end, Maybe this what I deserve now, Better off as friends."

Omar Apollo followed up Montell Fish with more smooth R&B sounds as the MSG continued to fill. Serenading the audience, Apollo —wearing a glittered red sleeveless top and flared blue glittered pants— and his shirtless band opened up his set with "Friends." Apollo danced and spun across the stage as the crowd sang along to "Talk," "Invincible" --which features Daniel Caesar " "Live For Me" from his latest album Live For Me, and Evergreen.

And finally, the headline Daniel Caesar. This was Caesar’s second last show of the second leg of his Superpowers Tour that started as a limited run in Asia. "Girl, I don't deserve you, You're the one I turn to, Never meant to hurt you, You're my saving grace, Grace, grace, grace, grace, grace, grace," the crowd roared to his set's opening song "Ocho Rios." Then, behind a white sheet that hung from the "ceiling" and surrounded the rectangular platform in the center of the stage, Daniel went into "Disillusioned" and "Toronto 2014" which brought Mustafa to the stage, joining Daniel Caesar on the platform. Then the curtain dropped, Madison Square Garden went nuts, and the party began as Daniel Caesar worked the entire stage. Soulful energy and the smell of weed filled the room as the Canadian native dove into his discography performing classics from his Freudian and CASE STUDY 1 albums including "CYANIDE" and "Loose."  The connection between Caesar and the crowd was powerful and all sang their hearts out. Let’s see who has a voice in the morning.
