A$AP Rocky Releases New Visualizer for “HIGHJACK”

A$AP Rocky suits up for his latest music video for his Hitkidd, Zach Fogarty, Greg Kurstin, Jordan Patrick, and Rex Kudo co-produced song, "HIGHJACK." Directed by AWGE and Thibaut Grevet, HIGHJACK receives some additional vocal support from  Jessica Pratt and GRAMMY® Award-winning Jon Batiste on background vocals.

Styled in suits, ties, and sunglasses, with a bevy of jewelry and hair accessories throughout the visualizer, the "Praise The Lord Rapper" appears trapped in a maze as he raps. "Talk to God before I go to sleep, he hit me right back./He said stay strong, put your trust in me, you on the right path./These n*iggas want my wife bad, the people want my next track, the coppers want my black ass," he flows on the bridge of the track before the beat drops back into the chorus.

The "HIGHJACK" video is the latest visuals from tracks slated to appear on the Harlem native's upcoming project, Don’tBe Dumb. Beyond the music, A$AP Rocky is busy with personal and legal matters. On the legal front, he's set to face trial in October for a 2021 incident where he allegedly shot his former friend and crew member, A$AP Relli, during an argument in Hollywood. If convicted, he could face up to 24 years in prison. The trial date was set after preliminary hearings in June and August and later confirmed for a trial date of October 21, 2024, according to Rolling Stone.

Personally, A$AP Rocky has been spending quality time with his partner, Rihanna, and their two sons, RZA and Riot Rose. In August, the couple was spotted enjoying a beach day in Barbados, which coincided with Rihanna's appearance at the Crop Over Festival in Barbados (Peoplemag).

Rocky continues to balance his music and fashion career alongside these developments, maintaining a presence in the public eye while managing his legal challenges. Watch the video above and share your thoughts in the comments.
