New Dew: SZA Debuts An Afro With TDE Workout Gear!
SZA isn't afraid to switch up her hairstyles. We've seen the TDE signee with bone straight and full curly locs, but the new dew she debuted on Instagram takes curls back to their political statement-making roots. Swapping for length for height SZA is entering the second quarter of 2018 with a ginger Afro. The 1970s fro, most notable on iconic figures such as Pam Grier circa her Foxy Brown days, helped combat European beauty standards and anchored the Black Is Beautiful Movement. With the Afro, the "Love Galore" singer sported apparel from her record label, a charcoal grey sports bra with matching shorts, both featuring the TDE logo scribed on the front of each garment.
